Mogadishu,(insidesomalia.org)- Second day joint search operation was in the early hours of today carried out by Ethiopian and Somali troops at Daynile district in the Somali capital Mogadishu.

 In the course of the operation these soldiers have caught number of civilians from T and Bangala villages in the district.

The joint soldiers were doing house to house search, the main motive behind the search operation of these soldiers was in search of weapons and apprehending people suspected of having links with government opponents.

Most of the residents of Daynile especially youngsters fled the district seeking for safer place.   

So far there are no intimidations such as torture done by the joint forces to the inhabitants who were at the time of the operation in the district. 

Generally the commercial activities and the learning intuitions were not attended for the second day, all the streets which enter the district are cordoned off and Ethiopian and Somali soldiers could be seen at every angle of the district.   

Yet there no comments from the operation commanders of the Ethiopian and the Somali soldiers.

It was only some few days ago when the highest ranking police officers said that soon they will conduct mass search operation at Daynile district, and the locations that under come it.

It was yesterday when similar joint operation was implemented by the Ethiopian and Somali soldiers and shot dead almost 10 civilians, which they have said were among the government opponents, but the district dwellers confirmed it incorrect.
